In God we trust—it’s the profession of all Christians and even our national motto.  But do your actions back that statement up?  Are you really trusting in God, for your health, for your marriage, for your future, for your finances?  Really?  Bought a lottery ticket lately?  We’ll explore the subtle ways we undermine our walk and our testimony by our attitudes, fears and those pesky little things we turn to and trust instead of God.

In part 2 of our examination of our actual trust in God, we look at the spiritual ways we try to take care of ourselves instead of trusting God.  What did Jesus mean about being “wise as serpents”?  And what is the difference between being obedient and slipping into legalism?
